Chris Eckertt has joined Universal Lighting Technologies as regional sales manager for western Canada. He will be based in Vancouver and will serve British Columbia and Alberta.
Eckertt has more than 10 years of experience in customer support and sales. He spent five of those years in the lighting industry.
“Local support is important to providing the most responsive customer service and building personal relationships with each of our customers in the Canadian marketplace,” said Lazar Petrov, director of distribution and OEM sales, Canada. “Chris brings a superb understanding of our industry and the needs of electrical distributors and contractors as they seek out the best possible lighting solutions for their clients.”
Universal Lighting Technologies has been doing business for more than 60 years. According to a news release, the company is “focused on designing, manufacturing, and distributing the industry’s finest lighting ballasts and controls.” Universal Lighting Technologies, headquartered in Nashville, Tenn., is a subsidiary of Panasonic Electric Works Co., Ltd., and a member of the Panasonic Group.
