According to North American Clean Energy, Pegasus, one of the nation’s fastest growing solar mounting manufacturers, has acquired the North American division of Aerocompact, a global supplier of solar mounting for commercial and industrial (C&I) markets. Under the agreement, Pegasus has an exclusive license to manufacture and sell the full Aerocompact product line in North America.
Aerocompact has a growing position in the North American C&I market with its innovative flat roof and ground mount solutions. Pegasus will accelerate market share capture by offering the products through its vast distribution network of over 130 stocking distributors across the US and Canada.
“Pegasus customers have repeatedly asked us to develop products for the commercial market,” said Kai Stephan, CEO & Founder of Pegasus. “Seeing the unique offerings from Aerocompact, we were impressed by the engineering and saw an opportunity to work together. The product lines, for example the S_Base system, are in direct alignment with our exacting innovation and engineering standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to immediately deliver superior engineered commercial flat roof and ground mount products to our growing customer base across North America.”
As part of the agreement, U.S. Aerocompact employees will join Pegasus, and Pegasus will manage and fulfill all existing and new customer orders. Pegasus will also integrate the Aerocompact product suite into Glide, its comprehensive software platform for project design, planning, and procurement.
The acquisition accelerates the Pegasus entrance into the C&I market. After launching the Pegasus FX system at RE+ Las Vegas in September 2025 to immediate success, Pegasus now has a complete mounting portfolio to cover all segments of C&I market.
In addition to a shared commitment to engineering and design excellence, both companies prioritize exceptional customer service.
“This is a very strong cultural fit between the two companies,” said Sebastian Dresse, CEO, Aerocompact. “We’re very excited for this opportunity to extend the reach of Aerocompact products to a larger market through Pegasus.”
