Parrish-Hare Marks 15 Years Supporting the Data Center Industry

DALLAS-FORT WORTH, Texas — Parrish-Hare and PHe Data Center Services (PHe DCS) have announced a milestone that underscores their long-standing role in the data center industry: 15 years of continuous support for data center infrastructure across Texas and beyond.

As artificial intelligence and digital acceleration fuel unprecedented growth in data center development, the company’s longevity and experience stand out in an increasingly crowded market. While many organizations are entering the data center space in response to the current AI-driven boom, Parrish-Hare and PHe DCS bring more than momentum; they bring proven experience built over multiple technology and market cycles.

The modern internet began in 1991 with the launch of the first public website. Parrish-Hare entered the data center market in 2011, the same year PHe Data Center Services was formally established. In 2026, that represents 15 years of direct experience in data center projects, accounting for nearly half of the modern internet’s lifetime to date.

“Supporting data centers isn’t just about delivering materials or executing projects; it’s about understanding the long-term operational demands behind mission-critical infrastructure. For the past 15 years, PHe Data Center Services has grown alongside this industry, learning through real projects, real challenges, and real responsibility. That experience is what allows us to deliver consistency and reliability in an environment where there is no margin for error.” said Jeff Maynard, Director, PHe Data Center Services

This sustained presence reflects a long-term commitment to reliability, scale, and performance rather than participation driven by short-term trends. Over the past decade and a half, Parrish-Hare and PHe DCS have supported data center projects before hyperscale dominance, navigated pre-COVID, COVID, and post-COVID market conditions, adapted as the industry shifted from enterprise-driven construction to colocation-led development, and delivered across multiple technology generations, not solely the current AI expansion. Project activity accelerated significantly after 2020, with year-over-year growth ranging from approximately 35 percent to over 100 percent, reflecting rising demand and expanded capabilities.

Key milestones include the establishment of PHe Data Center Services in 2011 to support dedicated data center construction efforts, early large-scale engagement with Top Tier Colocation Data Centers beginning in 2012, and expansion into additional hyperscale and colocation projects

Industry dynamics have also evolved. In 2022, approximately 80 percent of data center construction demand was driven by enterprise hyperscalers, with 20 percent attributed to colocation providers. Today, that mix has reversed, with colocation accounting for roughly 80 percent of activity, a shift that closely aligns with Parrish-Hare’s core strengths and experience.

“The data center market may feel new to many because of AI, but for Parrish-Hare, this work is deeply rooted in our history. We were involved long before the current surge, and we’ve supported customers through multiple market cycles. Longevity matters in this space, and our experience allows us to be a steady, trusted partner as the industry continues to evolve.” said Tom Wright, Director of Data Center Group, Parrish-Hare:

In North Texas alone, the data center market includes approximately 1.5 gigawatts of existing capacity, 1 gigawatt currently under construction, and an additional 8 gigawatts in planning and design phases, highlighting sustained long-term demand and continued opportunity in the region. With 15 years of dedicated data center experience, Parrish-Hare and PHe Data Center Services remain committed to supporting the infrastructure that powers the digital economy. The companies are not new to the data center industry, they helped build it.
