MaxLite has named Daniel Yang as the director of its Asia Pacific operations.
The company recently opened a new office and Korea in an effort to expand its operations in that region.
“Daniel works closely with our manufacturing operations in Asia,” said Thomas Rhee, MaxLite’s senior vice president of sales, marketing and product. “He brings a strong and diversified manufacturing experience and he will help us continue to develop new lighting products and technologies.”
MaxLite also recently appointed Taylor Bolton to the position of senior sales director of consumer sales.
“I am very pleased to have Taylor Bolton on board at MaxLite, managing our retail sales division,” Rhee said. “Taylor has a very strong and diverse background in the lighting industry with more than 12 years’ experience in consumer products and business development for the retail channel. We look forward to his leadership in developing this segment of our organization and feel he will be a perfect addition to MaxLite.”
Bolton will report directly to Rhee.
In his new role, Bolton will develop an overall strategy for sales of MaxLite’s energy efficient products. He will also work on expanding MaxLite’s products with retail customers.
Prior to joining MaxLite, Bolton served sales and business development capacities for Technical Consumer Products. He also worked in sales and business development positions for General Electric Company and The Gillette Company in the Duracell products division.
