MaxLite recently announced the promotions of Pat Treadway and James Steedly.
Treadway has been promoted to director of product marketing. For the past year, he has served as the company’s national product marketing manager.
According to a MaxLite news release, “In his new role, Mr. Treadway will be responsible for overall product strategic planning, including short- and mid-term product roadmaps, brand positioning, product category expansion, supply chain development and the development of new emerging technologies. He will also oversee product training and application engineering support.”
Steedly has been promoted to director of product R&D and engineering. He previously served as manager of product R&D and engineering for the company.
In his new role, Steedly “will provide technical leadership and create competitive cutting-edge lighting solutions while incorporating new ideas, technologies and methodologies.”
Both Treadway and Steedly will continue to report to Thomas Rhee, senior vice president of sales, marketing and product.
MaxLite also recently announced a new hire at the company.
Douglas Kruse has joined MaxLite as the south central region sales manager.
Kruse previously worked as the southern central sales representative for Progress Lighting, the district sales representative to The Home Depot for Hunter Ceiling Fan Company and sales representative for Parlux Industries.
According to a company news release, “In his new position, Mr. Kruse will work closely with MaxLite’s sales agencies to develop LED and other energy efficient lighting programs for architects, designers, lighting distributors, specifiers and allied industry professionals.”
